Do you need more ideas for what to post on Instagram? You can relate. When I started using Instagram, I needed to figure out what content I should post, what to caption, and when to post it. This is why I started doing my research on the internet. I was interested in what mommy bloggers were sharing on Instagram to help me reach my audience. Most of the information I found was related to mommy blog ideas and nothing to social media or Instagram content. However, I wasn’t posting to my blog often and had some topics I wanted to write about. At that point, my main goal was to build a relationship and increase my Instagram following so that my readers want to visit my blog.
Here are twenty ideas for Instagram content you can use to create and repurpose digital content. My mission is to support mompreneurs, influencers, and mom lifestyle bloggers. This is why I made this mommy-specific Instagram content. Because I couldn’t find any ideas that would fit my mommy community. I want to be an inspiring force that connects with your audience and helps you grow. It can be overwhelming and stressful to create and post engaging content on your Instagram feed every day. These are twenty ideas for Instagram content that mommies can share to their feeds to keep them connected and engaged with their growing audience.
Mommy Purchase
Moms love to shop, so this could be any product you purchased for your kids in the past month. These products could make your life easier or provide value to your data. You could choose a particular type of water bottle for kids, a teething baby toy, or a mom beauty product. These posts are great for driving traffic to your blog, where you can discuss more mommy purchases. You don’t have to post photos of all items in the post. Instead, you can post one or two images of the product in action.
Kids OOTD
If you’re anything like me, then the most recent image in your camera reel is probably your best. It is likely to be of a cute little girl dressed in adorable clothes. I encourage you to share a photo of your child’s outfit from the XYZ brand or store. This is why I love this type of IG content. You can use OOTD as a regular Instagram post. This is especially useful if you want to set up a regular posting schedule. This eliminates the need to guess what day to post. Your audience will also have something to look forward to, such as a Fashion Friday Kids OOTD.
Mommy Space
You could take an overhead photo of yourself at your desk, or of you lying on the floor in your children’s playroom, surrounded by toys. It is important to make it your own, whether you’re working in your backyard, at home, or in your playroom. This is ideal for moms who have to work from home and care for their children during the pandemic.
Favorite Mommy and Me place
You can enjoy a morning coffee at your local coffee shop with your child. You can share the location with your friends. These are great ways to share your love for places such as the library, playground, or beach. This could be a great post to share with your friends out of state or a local mommy and my place.
